Nursery

Here are some pictures of the nursery. Mom, Brian and Brett came down and helped us paint and decorate. We really appreciate all of their help! The changing table and crib are from Linda and Glenn, and we really appreciate their generosity too! We are still waiting on the glider from my Grandmother, the changing table and the bedding!
Proud Daddy and the crib he put together!

3D Sonogram

I had a 3D sonogram last Wednesday as a birthday presant to myself, and it was the most amazing thing ever! It is amazing how much you can see! We were also able to share the sonogram live online with Mom and Brian and Linda and Glenn. I think Mom had it running on a loop all day long at the store! We also go a DVD of the sonogram and a lot of pictures. Here are just a few of the pictures. She was being a little stinker and not facing us at the beginning. She was snuggled up sleeping against my back, and not wanting to move (sounds just like me!). But after a little bit she finnaly turned around and opened her mouth a little bit, and stuck her tounge out at us. I guess she was up lat at night like her Dad and wanted to sleep in like her Mom!

We are pregnant!

I have decided that I would follow with the trend and start a blog so that we can share pictures of our baby with friends and family! I am new to this, so it should be interesting.
I am 27 weeks along and we have found out that we are having a baby girl! Joel and I are both very excited...but I think Joel is a little nervous about being outnumbered.
We have also decided on a name: Emma Beggs Neland. Emma Beggs was my Great-grandmother's name on my Dad's side. I wanted to include a family name since I was a family name baby. I have already heard some interesting stories about my Great-grandmother from both my mom and my Uncle Buffalo. My mom said she witnessed Emma Beggs hiding her shoes in the bookshelves one Christmas so that she did not have to go to Church, and Uncle Buffalo said he remembered her always saying " Everythings gonna be o.k."
At 27 weeks, Emma is doing great and so am I. She is a very active little girl...I feel her moving ALL of the time! I think she might get that from Joel. :)
