Life Lessons

So Emma learned a very important lesson today. This morning while I was cleaning up the living room, Emma found a pumpkin tattoo that I guess we had received from some fall festival. She asked me to put it on her. So I took her in the bathroom and told her that this was a tattoo and so I had to put it on differently than a sticker. She held her hand out and I wet a washcloth and applied the temporary tattoo to her hand. The minute I pulled the backing off, Emma said, "Off! Off!" I started laughing and said, " Emma this is a very important life lesson...this is a tattoo and it does not come off like a sticker...it stays on. " She looked at me, and then laid her head down on the counter in despair over her choice in tattoos! It was too funny...I am definitely putting this story in her baby book so that one day when she comes to me asking about getting a tattoo I can remind her of how she felt when she was younger....GREAT LIFE LESSON!

Boo at the Zoo

We went to Fort Worth and went to the Fort Worth Zoo. Emma wore her Halloween costume and was a scary ghost. The Cunningham's came with us too!
