Rodeo

In February we went to Fort Worth to the Rodeo.  This year Emma liked all of the rides and did not want to leave the Midway!  She also enjoyed the actual Rodeo and liked Whiplash the best!

Leap Year Half Birthday

Charlotte's half birthday never happened because she was born on the 29th, and this year was a Leap Year!  So she is a half Leap Year baby!  Needless to say I forgot to get her 6 month picture..Oh second child!  But here are her stats from the doctor:
Weight: 17 lbs 13 oz 75%ile
Height:  26 1/2 in 90%ile
Head Circumference: 46cm 98%ile

At 6 months she started sitting up really well on her own and started more solids food.  Her first foods were rice cereal, meat and sweet potatoes.  She loved them all and loves to eat.  You can't get the spoon to her mouth fast enough!  

5 months

Charlotte is 5 months old! Time is flying by! She is so smiley and is just a happy baby. We started rice cereal and she LOVES it!

Exxopolis Luminarium

A few weekends ago, we went to The Long Center to the Exxopolis Luminarium exhibit.  Both girls loved it.  It was basically a huge bounce house that you could walk thru.  But the natural light thru the different colored panels is what made it so cool.  Here is the description from the website: The Exxopolis luminarium is a stunning sculpture that people enter to be moved to a sense of wonder at the beauty of light and color. Emma's 3rd Birthday Party

Princess dreams came true at our house this past weekend!  We celebrated Emma's birthday on Saturday with a Princess and Superhero Party!  We had Snow White come and she did magic tricks, face painting, balloon animals and more!  She even called Emma the night before her party which made Emma's day!  Emma's god mother also came as Cindarella which was such a special treat as well...thank you Allie!

School birthday celebration

It's Emma's birthday celebration weekend, so on Friday I took some cupcakes up to her class to celebrate. I got to stay for the rest of the day and see her in music class. The kids did a great job and were full I energy!
